Covid-19 Safety Plan

PLA2021 - THE PARK BENCH, RECONNECTING COMMUNITIES

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

Parks and Leisure Australia will take all reasonable steps to provide the safest possible environment for our delegates, supporters, exhibitors, staff and contractors. We will be guided by the Government health and safety measures and will work closely with the venues and all suppliers to plan and implement a detailed COVID Safety Plan.

Government restrictions and guidelines will evolve over time in the lead up to the Conference and will be communicated on the website. Closer to the time of the Conference, in response to the current guidelines, participants will be sent COVID Safety compliance information which will provide details on the measures being undertaken. All delegates will be bound by these guidelines.

CONFERENCE POSTPONEMENT

Parks and Leisure Australia may cancel or postpone the Conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later date or the following year.

In the event of postponement of the Conference, PLA will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, PLA will accept substitutes in your place or provide a refund which must be received in writing.

COVID-19 BORDER CLOSURES

The government in various States and Territories has imposed at times and may in future impose border closures or border restrictions in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic (COVID-19 Border Closures). The attendees acknowledge that the COVID-19 Border Closures are outside the control of PLA.
